Change or reset your password

In this article, we explain how to change and reset your Rentman password and that of other users.-

Change your password

  1. Log in to Rentman.
  2. Click on your usernameSelect_account_name.png in the top right corner of the screen. 
  3. Choose Edit data.
  4. Under Login information, click Change password
  5. Fill in both password fields.
  6. Save your new password.

Change password for another user

  1. Go to the Crew members module.
  2. Double click on the crew member whose password you want to change.
  3. Under Login information, click Change password.
  4. Fill in both password fields.
  5. Save your new password.

Please note that the crew member does not receive a notification of the password change.

Reset your password

Note: Keep in mind to use your username, not your email address, to log in.

  1. If you aren't already, log out from Rentman.
  2. On the login screen, click Forgot password?
  3. Enter the email address that you use for your Rentman account. You will now receive an email with instructions to reset your password.
  4. Open the email and click on the link to begin setting a new password.

This process does not work if two users are registered with the same email. If that is the case, edit the email in the login information of the other user, then follow the previous steps.

  1. Ask a colleague who works in Rentman to go to the Crew members module.
  2. Let them double click your name.
  3. Your username is listed under Login information.
