To achieve the same functionality as the old cases, you can simply use physical combinations with fixed content. To achieve this, create a Physical Rental Combination with content:
Go to the Default content tab. Select your content and add it as before, in the quantities needed. Now comes the important part:
- Set your “Stays in combination field” to “Stays in the combination”, instead of “Is removed from combination”.
- Also set your “Reserved from stock” column to “Reserved from stock”, instead of “Available outside of combination”.
These options will cause your new physical combination to behave like a case.
