In this article, we explain how to change the language in your account, in the app, and in the documents.

Available languages

Official languages (full software + support)

Rentman is available in 5 official languages. The program was translated in these languages by us, and we offer support in these languages. The languages are:

  • English
  • Dutch
  • German
  • French
  • Italian
  • Spanish 

Machine-translated languages

You can also use Rentman in a machine-translated language. As machine-translation is not always reliable, our users can contribute to the translation of the program. 

To know if your language is currently available or contribute to the translation, please contact our support staff.

Change your workspace (company account) language

When you create a free trial, you can choose the language of your workspace. The interface, notifications, default settings, and templates will be in the chosen language. To change the language of these elements, please contact our support staff.

Change your profile language

Changing your profile's language will only change the language shown in the browser, so notifications and default settings and templates will not change. To change notifications and default settings, read the previous section.

Profile connected to a workspace

If you have already connected your profile to a workspace, you can change your profile's language by editing your personal details.

Profile not connected to a workspace

If you haven't connected your profile to a workspace, you can change the language in your account by logging out and then logging back in with a different language. To do this:

  1. Click on your user name on the top-right corner.
  2. In the drop-down menu, select exit_to_app Return to workspaces.
  3. Choose the language from the dropdown menu next to the Rentman logo.
  4. Click on Login.


Change the language of your document templates

In Rentman you can create and customize document templates. You can add a system template in your language using the Template library, or change the language of a single document template.

If a template has not been translated to your language yet, you can contact our support staff and ask the permission to translate it.

Change the language in the app

To change the language in Rentman Mobile:

  1. Go to Settings Location and time
  2. Click on Language and select the language you prefer.
