Understanding the equipment timeline
Equipment name: This bar shows the name of the equipment you have selected. It also tells you the quantity available or unavailable if all the equipment reserved for projects is fully booked. It gives you an insight into your equipment availability if all projects were to be confirmed in the future.
You can see that in the screenshot below. Notice the quantity drops from 22 to 18 right when the EMF Light Show Dryhire Project begins. The 4 pieces of equipment planned in the EMF project are not reserved, yet the quantity is reduced to provide an accurate future forecast.
Warehouse stock: This bar represents the total availability of the selected equipment excluding any subrentals. The quantity only includes reserved equipment in a project.
This can be seen in the same screenshot below. Notice how the quantity stays at 22 even at the start of the EMF Light Show Dryhire Project. That is because the equipment is not reserved in that project; therefore, the quantity in Warehouse stock did not decrease.
Projects: This project line shows you all the projects on which you have planned the equipment within the respective time frame.
Notice the two different shades on the Live Performance Band Project. The striped section represents the Planning period, while the solid colour represents the Usage period of the project.
Subrentals: If you subrented this item, this will reflect in the equipment timeline as a blue bar. Color will change depending on the status of the subrent.
Project status does affect reservations within a project. Take a look at this article for more information
