If you have planned sale items (e.g., consumables like Gaffa tape, fog machine liquid, etc.) on a project, when returning your equipment to the warehouse, remember to leave the ones you used on location.

The stock level of a sale item does not change when the item is planned, but only when it's booked out of (and back in) the warehouse. This happens because the number of sale items that goes out and comes back in the warehouse might differ from the number you plan.

How does it work?

When moving equipment from "On location" status to "Returned" status, you can enter the unused (remaining) quantity of your sales item and press  blobid0.png.

The quantity that comes back will be accounted for in the stock level of the item.

For instance, you brought 50 Blue Fireworks to an event, but only 35 fireworks were used. When booking equipment back, type "15" in the field next to blobid0.png.

After moving back all the equipment (not only the sale items), click on the More options more_vert button in the top-right corner and select "Change status and close".

How does it appear in the Mobile App

If you included sale items (such as consumables) in your project plan, you need to return any unused items to the warehouse by booking them back. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Swipe left on a sale item.
  2. Choose "Book amount".
  3. Insert the quantity that is being returned to the warehouse and press "Ok."

The sale item is now booked back. After you returned all the rest of the rental equipment:

  1. Select the More actions button ... on the top right of the screen.
  2. Choose "Change the project status"
  3. Select "Returned" and press Ok.

You can now close the project. The stock level of your sale items will be calculated based on the quantity you booked back.
