The Warehouse Tracking Log provides a complete history of your equipment’s journey through the warehouse. This feature allows you to track each item's location, usage, and actions performed on it, offering greater visibility and control over your inventory. You can easily see where equipment has been, who handled it, and when, helping prevent loss and saving time troubleshooting misplaced items.
Note: This feature is part of the History Logs Add-on license.
How to Access the Warehouse Tracking Log
There are different ways to view the Warehouse Tracking Log in Rentman:
In the warehouse Warehouse module:
Access it directly from the warehouse Warehouse module by clicking on Warehouse and then selecting Warehouse tracking log sub-module.
From the Combinations Submodule:
Select the combination or several combinations, and click on the More options more_vert button → Go to tracking log.
Via the categoryEquipment Module:
Select an equipment item or several items, and click on the More options more_vert button → Go to tracking log.
From the Serial Numbers Submodule:
Select the serial number or several serial numbers, and click on the More options more_vert button → Go to tracking log.
Via the table_chart Projects Module:
Select a project or several projects, and click on the More options more_vert button → Go to tracking log.
Via the group Crewmembers Module:
Select a crew member or several crew members, and click on the More options more_vert button → Go to tracking log.
When Booking Your Equipment:
Navigate to the equipment item, and click on themore_vert button → Go to tracking log. Alternatively, next toclick on themore_vert button → Go to tracking log.
When you first open the Warehouse Tracking Log overview in your Rentman workspace, you’ll see four main default filter sections with various subsections on the left.

The Warehouse Tracking Log provides a comprehensive history of your equipment's activity in the warehouse, offering detailed insights into how it was handled.
You can intuitively combine filters by selecting items from various sections. For example, this allows you to trace what happened to a specific serial number within a specific project.
You can filter the view by selecting items from the following sections:
Actions: See a full history of the equipment item based on the selected action.
Projects and Subprojects: Track where the item has been used.
Equipment and Serial numbers: Track each item or serial number separately.
Crew members: Discover what a selected crew member did with an item.
Each filter section displays only 10 items by default. To select an item not shown in the preview, you can use the search functionality.
You can easily reset the filters by clicking the arrow in the top-right corner of the filter section.

FAQs
How far back can I view information in the Warehouse Tracking Log?
Initially, you can view information going back up to 6 months. However, moving forward, we’ll continuously add new data as it becomes available. Over time, this will allow you to access an extensive history of activity.
What if I can't find the equipment item, serial number, project, or crew member in the filter section on the left? I only see a few items.
Each filter section displays only 10 items by default. To find an item not shown in the preview, use the search functionality.
What is the maximum number of items I can display in the main list?
The maximum number of items per section is 5,000. We recommend using the filters on the left to reduce clutter and quickly find what you’re looking for.
