Update equipment data

When you duplicate a project from the past, some of the equipment information might be outdated (for example, the unit price).

To make sure you don't communicate outdated information, you can update the equipment data from the Equipment tab of your project. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Equipment tab of a project.
  2. Select all the equipment items you want to update.
  3. Click on the More actions more_vert button.
  4. Select 'Update equipment data'.
  5. Click on  Update

Update the content of a kit

If you edit the database information of a kit that is already planned in a project, you can update it from inside the project. This is very helpful if you duplicate an old project, or if you edit a kit that is being used in a long tour.

To do this:

  1. Follow the steps previously described.
  2. After step 4, check the box to 'Update the content of the selected kits to the content of the respective kit in your database.'
  3. Click on  Update

The selected kits are now updated.

Note: Planned equipment can be deleted if they are no longer in the kit in your database.

Edit kit price based on content

Quoting and Invoicing

If you change the content of a kit inside a project, you can edit the kit price based on the new content.

  1. Select select_1.png the kit
  2. Click on the More actions more_vert button.
  3. Choose 'Edit kit price based on content'.
