Assigning individual serial numbers during project planning can be useful, if you want to make sure that a specific item from your stock is taken onto location. For example: a specific camera, which is assigned to the person that will be on location, or a laptop with a specific configuration.
You can plan a specific item using serial numbers. To do this:
- Right click on the item, to open it's contextual menu or select
an item in your project and click the More actions more_vertbutton.
- Choose 'Assign serial numbers'. The pop-up screen that opens shows an overview of your serial numbers and their availability.
- Select your preferred serial number and choose Confirm to book it for the project.
The serial number you've selected will be visible on the packing slip and in the booking screen of your warehouse module.
