You can choose to display each project only on the days that fall within its usage period or its planning period, rather than seeing it across its entire planning period by default. This is possible from two modules.
This is especially useful when:
- You run the project overview on a screen in the office to check when shows and events are happening. With only the planning period visible, no one can tell which days are event days.
- A project has several subprojects spread across weeks. The planning period displays the whole range as one block, while the usage period shows exactly when each subproject happens.
For the difference between the two periods, see What are planning and usage periods?
