If an item should not go out after all — for example it is damaged or over-ordered — mark it as “Remove from project” in the booking screen. This action is permission-based, so check with your admin if you do not see it.
Note: Currently in limited release. Available once your account is on version 551.
'Warehouse module' permission
There is a separate permission that lets certain user roles mark equipment as not taken by removing it from the project.
- Go to Configuration › User roles and click Edit on the relevant role.
- Find the Warehouse module permissions.
- Find the permission called “Mark equipment as not taken”.
- Check the box to enable it, or leave it unchecked to restrict access.
- Click Save.
How to remove an item from a project in the 'Warehouse' module
- In the warehouse booking screen, find the equipment item.
- Click the ⋮ (more options) icon next to the item and select “Remove from project”.
- Adjust the quantity.
Note: removing this equipment affects the planned quantity and total price.
- The quantity updates in both the warehouse booking screen and the project’s 'Equipment' tab.
If you remove all of the equipment, the item disappears from the warehouse booking screen but remains in the project’s 'Equipment' tab with quantity set to 0.
