The 'Reserved from stock' feature helps you manage how the content of a physical combination behaves when planned on a project.
| Reserved from stock | If an equipment item is reserved from stock for each combination, it will not be available outside this combination. For example, items that must be permanently attached to the flight case or always accompany this combination. |
| Available outside the combination | If an item is available outside the combination, it behaves like the content of a virtual combination. It can be rented out or used separately. |
How to use it
You can choose the settings for each individual item in your physical combination. Follow the steps or watch the video below to learn how.
- Go to the category Equipment module and navigate to the 'Default content' tab.
- Find the equipment item in the 'Default content' and select your preference in the "Reserved from stock" column.
If you don't see the column in your view, you can easily add it by following the steps in this video.
FAQ
Will my current equipment items be "Reserved from stock" or "Available outside combination"?
None of your existing equipment will be impacted by this change unless you decide to make changes yourself. All your items will remain in the “reserved from stock” status, so the behavior will be exactly as you’re used to right now.
When adding new items to the default content of my combination, which selection will they have by default?
By default, new items will be assigned to "Reserved from stock."
