In Rentman, you can create and add crew members to your workspace so you can assign them to functions, track their availability, share project planning, and register their hours. This article provides an overview of the steps to get your crew members set up in Rentman.
The Crew members module
The group Crew members module is where you’ll find all your crew’s details, including contact information, availability, user roles, contracts, skills, rates, and qualifications.
For detailed steps, see: Adding Crew Members.
Adding functions to a project
In Rentman, a function is a task or job for a project. When setting up functions you need to specify what needs to be done, how many people are needed, and when it should happen. Later on, you assign crew members and vehicles to these tasks.
Once you create your crew and transport functions, you can plan and add functions to different projects.
For detailed information, see: Functions - What Are They and How to Create Them
Assigning crew members to functions
In the Crew scheduling and Transport planning tabs of your project, you plan your crew members and vehicles on crew and transport functions.
These tabs provide you with an overview of which functions need to be planned, which crew members are available and who is already planned on a function. From the Crew scheduling and Transport planning tabs you can invite crew members for functions and directly send them the planning.
For detailed steps, see: Plan Crew from within a Project
