Why is some planned equipment highlighted in red?

When equipment is marked in red, Rentman gives you an explanation. This helps you understand where is the problem coming from and how to solve it.

  • Shortage - You do not have enough equipment available.
  • Shortage of own stock available - Not all the planned quantity is reserved, but you have the available equipment in your warehouse. This can happen if some equipment becomes available after a repair, or if a project that was reserving that equipment is canceled. To solve this, manually reserve the equipment or open the project and save it again.
  • Invalid Reservations - You had enough reserved equipment available over multiple projects, but something changed in your equipment availability and now the reservation is invalid. This can happen if some equipment gets lost after an event, and you don't have enough equipment available anymore. Each project the item is planned on will now have invalid reservations. If you decide to solve the shortages of this invalid reservations via a subrent, a pop-up will show that tells that the reservation on this equipment will be removed if you continue. In this way you can continue your subrental process, without having to make manual adjustments to the existing reservations.
  • Shortage because of repairs
