Plan Crew Members on Shifts

There are different ways you can plan crew members on shifts.

Plan crew members on shifts using click-to-plan

1. Open the account_circle Crew Planner module.
2. Select a shift. 

3. In the availability timeline, click on the magnifying glass and select the crew you want to plan on the shift.

   Cannot see the availability timeline?

   If you do not see the availability timeline, you can drag it open.
   
4. Click on the highlighted section in the availability timeline and Final or Draft plan the crew member on the shift. 
5. Once you have planned all your crew members, you can communicate the planning.

Rentman Tip: If you have recurring shifts, you can plan the same crew member on all the recurrences or the recurrences that happen in the future.
Right-click on the crew member's name in the Planning row and select Schedule on recurrences or Schedule on future recurrences.

Plan crew members when creating the shift

When you are creating shifts, you have the option to directly plan crew members on them. 

1. Create a shift.
2. Under crew members, click on the magnifying glass and select the crew member(s) you want to plan on the shift.
3. Click on Create shift.
